Interesting photograph. From the start, I get the sense that the female is going to jump off this high object, presumably a step ladder. After analyzing the piece some more, I visualize wind blowing into he direction as she closes her eyes and drifts into a dream world as if the female is pretending to fly. This does not give any major hints towards the main theme or goal the photographer is attempting to show, if any. It is, however, well executed. The quality is incredibly high, the shadow is very well placed (aka great lighting), the main object is pointing out vividly and clear in focus, and the added filters give it a better sense of depth. The entire image stirred me up inside, as conflicting emotions attempted to make up what is going on. The impact is just amazing from such a simple image. I could also say that she is imitating the scene from Titanic when Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet stood on the edge of the deck, but that would just mean the same thing as "appreciating the wind". Overall, well done.
...I've seen this picture ina amagazine I guess and I fell in love with it...with it's simplicity and that abstract hope that the shade shows someone different ... in an abstract world!
